Assurity Certified Solutions LLC (“Assurity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates assuritycertified.com, collisionrepairlocator.com, and our other websites and services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our Services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you:
- Search for collision centers on the locator
- Request an appointment or estimate from a collision center on the locator
- Submit a collision center application or use the Collision Center Portal
- Use the Management or Network Portals
- Sign up for emails or contact us
We also automatically collect usage data (such as IP address, device information, and analytics via Google Analytics and Google Maps).
Text Messaging (SMS) Communications
We may collect phone numbers and use them to send text messages (SMS/MMS) for direct, conversational communication with known individuals (such as appointment reminders, updates, responses to inquiries, or other business-related matters). We do not send marketing or promotional text messages unless you have separately opted in.
SMS Consent Statement
SMS consent and opt-in information is not shared with third parties or affiliates. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent for marketing purposes with any third parties or affiliates.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
- Provide and improve the locator and portal services
- Process applications and perform certification validation
- Send promotional and newsletter emails (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- Analyze site usage and enhance our services
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share:
- Aggregated or anonymized data for industry insights
- Collision center profile information only when a center explicitly opts in
- The details of an appointment or estimate request with the collision center you send it to
- Data with service providers (such as Google Maps, Google Analytics, and hosting providers) who are required to protect it
- Information if required by law
- We do not share SMS consent or phone numbers for marketing purposes with any third parties.
AI Assistants and Our Connector
The Assurity Smart Locator connector lets AI assistants, such as Claude and ChatGPT, search the collision centers listed on collisionrepairlocator.com and give you a link to request an appointment. It only reads public listing information.
What the connector receives
- Search details the assistant sends, such as a ZIP code, a city, or a center from the results
- Details the assistant sends to build a request link, such as your vehicle’s year, make and model, where it’s damaged, and a preferred day and time
- The name of the assistant making the request
The connector does not ask for or accept your name, phone number, or email address. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your account with it, or your precise location.
What we keep
- Daily counts of connector use by assistant and by tool. These counts contain no personal information.
- A short server log entry for each call (the tool used, the assistant, and whether it worked), along with the standard records our web servers keep for every visit, such as IP address. We use these for security and troubleshooting.
The connector uses search and vehicle details to answer the request and does not save them. The link it builds carries vehicle and request details, never contact information.
When you send a request
If you open the link and send the request, you type your own name and contact details on our form. We send your request to the collision center you chose so it can contact you, and we note that it came through an AI assistant. That information is handled as described in the rest of this policy. Your conversations with an assistant are covered by that assistant’s own privacy policy.
Google API Services and Google User Data
Our internal tools connect to Google APIs (Google Ads, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics) to measure how our own websites perform and how often drivers search for collision repair in a market. Only Assurity staff sign in with Google to authorize these tools. We do not ask drivers, collision centers, or other visitors to connect a Google account.
What we access
- Google Ads: keyword planning data, such as average monthly searches for collision repair terms in a state or county, through Assurity’s own Google Ads account
- Google Search Console: search impressions, clicks, and queries for websites Assurity owns
- Google Analytics: visit and usage statistics for websites Assurity owns
How we use it
We use this data to run our websites and to prepare market reports, such as how many local searches there are for collision repair and how our locator appears in search results. Market reports we share with collision centers contain aggregate numbers only, never data about an individual Google user.
How we store and share it
We store the aggregate numbers in our database and keep the Google authorization credentials in our secured server configuration. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except as required by law.
Assurity’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
An Assurity staff member who authorized a tool can revoke its access at any time from Google Account permissions. When access is revoked, we delete the stored credentials.
Data Retention
Collision center compliance documents and related records are retained indefinitely to maintain certification history. Connector usage counts are kept as statistics with no personal information. Server logs are kept for a limited time. Other data is kept only as long as necessary.
Security
We protect your information using industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, secure servers, strict access controls, regular security reviews, and ongoing monitoring. However, no system is completely secure.
Your Rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in every message
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing info@assuritycertified.com
- California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA — contact us to exercise them
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version with a revised effective date.
